Tell us about yourself?
My name is Shadrach Subah. I am 19 years old from Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. At the moment, I am living in Fargo, North Dakota and am attending North Dakota State University majoring in marketing and minor in photography. I am a photographer specializing in portraits and landscape photos. I plan to become one of the best well-known photographers in the game.
When did you start taking photos?
My passion for photography started my sophomore year of high school in photography class when I was about 16 years old. I mainly started with my Iphone 5 and was just taking pics until my storage was full. Then my brother Benji and I went out and got a Canon Rebel T5 and it was go time from there.
What inspired you to pick up a camera?
My uncle Aldrin Porte, he was a photographer when I was younger. I used to look at his camera wondering like what does this do? Then I got a chance to shoot with it and ever since then I started researching what camera to get.
What are cool projects you've worked on?
I haven't worked on a lot of projects just yet but I like the one I did for my clothing line Perspective Clothing and plan on doing more in the future. I have a dope project coming soon with my friend Anna Mangue, so stay tuned!
What/who would you most like to capture and why?
At this moment, I take portraits of people I know and sometimes of people that I don't know but have always wanted to get into urban photography. I take photographs of skyscrapers and just cool looking things. I would love to get a chance to take pictures of well-known people such as Obama, Bill Gates...etc, mainly because I just want to be different from other photographers and more unique.
How did you hear about MUROL?
I heard about Murol from my friend Anna. She was just telling me I should download the app and at first I was like no but then she showed me it and from then on I fell in love with the app.
What makes MUROL unique?
What makes Murol unique is that all of the landscape photos fit perfectly in the frame and make the image just Glow! Also, I like the way that your phone has to be sideways. I like that a lot because it’s a great way to showcase the photos.
When did you have that eye opening moment and saw the Bigger Picture?
I feel like it's occurring right now because my photos are getting more publicity and liked by more and more people, the things people are saying is giving me more confidence to keep shooting.
